In June 2026 I visited Iceland. Over 7 days we explored the bottom half of the world’s youngest island. With over 20 hours of daylight we moved from Reykjavik, to Vik, to Hofn; stopping along Highway 1 per diem.

We watched whales and puffins. We scaled volcanos, drank ancient glacier water, went off-road to see a “man of talents.” We learned local phrases and lore, ate exotic foods, relaxed in naturally heated pools, and reveled in the immense scale of life taking place in this beautiful country.

Alongside me was a Fujifilm GFX 50s and the immortal Canon P. Each day was remarkably distinct and heavy with adventure, capable of satiating the hunger of exploration singularly - I attempted to captured these days accordingly.
